I don't get it.
lady-of-iron-and-ice:
Damon is the most selfless person in the whole series. He does not only protect Elena, but them all. Maybe his ways are not the best, but he does it because of love. Deep, selfdestructive love for a girl he’s sure he will never get.
They all would be dead without him. Yet, he is still alone.
And it seems nobody cares about this fact.
